Hi everyone. And happy chocolate intake this weekend.
I hope that you are all doing very well. I am happily getting ready for the festivities, here are my recent easter babies (I have made a dozen so far and if there is wool at the thrift store today, there may be more)
I am hoping you all have a family do or something, but you can broaden your crafty family by making bunnies or chicks

I apologize – a rare occasion in which I post someone else’s crochet, but it is to give credit where credit is due. Please check out the amAMZIng! crochet alphabet, Not only a great idea highlighted on Craft at facebook, but a wonderful layout to the patterns. Since work-shopping crochet the last few years I could not recommend strongly enough the difficulty that following a written pattern presents. I kept trying to teach the math involved, the basics, in the tiny time people might have set aside to learn the stitches and complete a little project .
These graphic representations solve that conundrum.
Happy month of crochet fellow crocheteer, you get the prize

Pandora’s Fibres is on Etsy!!

Hi folks,
I hope that this lovely spring day finds you in good spirits. Just an update to let you all know that I have opened my Etsy shop.
Pandora’s Fibres will have my art and crochet creations for sale and I look forward to seeing you there.
We are starting slowly, trying to get all the pieces photographed and displayed properly, so if you see something here, or at flickr that isn’t up at the shop please do not hesitate to request it. I look forward to all the new exchanges and inspirations that every new community offers.

crochet month

craftastic 020Originally uploaded by artneli

Just because I read somewhere that March is crochet month, so I must wish you a very productive and creative MONTH OF CROCHET.
I wish that you all, the whole world, or at least the modest slice of it that check my blog, some moments of calm and bliss that can only be offered by a perfect half double stitch, a good scrumble, with no final product in mind or a spiffy square (be it granny or other). If the onset of spring around the corner slows your ‘by hook and by crook’ obsession think of the various organizations that could use your skills. I think of afgans for afgans off the top of my head, but there are plenty of others.
Crochet is a liberating force for good, set yourself free

‘Maitri 2010’

show ‘Maitri 2010’

Here we are, the last day of the show. I want to thank all the people who came to see my work. I want to thank everybody who took the compassionate concept of Maitri into their hearts. I want to thank the mandala workshop participants
I want to remind you all that the works that you saw are for sale at fair and negotiable prices.
I also want to thank Maria, who has been a big encouragement to me. It only took me 12 yrs and 2 children to get to a solo show but now I think there are more in my future.
I wish you all the pleasure of seeing your work thrive like that. -P
